Improv is an app for browsing shows, classes, and performers at improv theaters. The short version: Improv collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking. The long version follows, and it is not much longer.
What Improv stores, and where
Your "I'm Going" list and your theater selection are stored locally on your device. They are not sent anywhere.
What the developer receives
Nothing. Improv contains no analytics, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party code. The developer cannot see what shows you browse, what you mark as "going," or that you use the app at all. If you email support, the developer receives your email — that is the complete list.
Network connections Improv makes
- Show and class data — Improv fetches publicly available show listings, class schedules, and performer information from theater websites.
- Poster images — show artwork is fetched over HTTPS and cached locally so it loads instantly on subsequent views.
Improv makes no other network connections.
Children
Improv does not knowingly collect information from anyone, children included — it does not collect information at all.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear at this address with a new effective date.
